ISpire Dabbing Wand

If I told you that you can now dab with the use of a wand you’d probably call me crazy. All it takes is a little bit of magic. Just kidding, induction heating. The ISpire wand allows you to take dabs at precise temperatures without the use of a scary torch and flame. No more being afraid of where you set down the torch or getting burned, you can set down the ISpire wand anywhere without worry.

Unfortunately, batteries are not included. You will need to find yourself a pair of 18650 Batteries between 3000mAh-3500mAh with a minimum 15A CDR rating.

So how exactly does it work?

The initial set up is like a traditional banger set-up, just put the 14mm banger in the piece you wish to dab with and then drop the inner cup into the banger. Please note, you will need to use the banger that comes specifically with the kit as it is a smaller size than traditional bangers and designed to fit the wand.

Once your set-up, simply turn on the wand with 5 clicks, select your desired temperature with the – and + buttons, slide the wand over the banger, and press the fire button twice to activate auto mode. The wand will flash to indicate its heating and will stay steady once it is done heating up. Then simply remove the wand, add your concentrate, and dab away!

The wand also has a manual mode if you press and hold down the fire button. The wand will start to heat up, just hold down the fire button until you reach your desired temperature and you are ready to dab! It is recommended to clean the induction area of the wand after each use.

Pros and Cons

This Wand has its ups and downs, just depends on the type of dabber that you are. Initially I love that it is half the price of a Puffco Peak Pro, however you need to remember you need to buy batteries for the wand which are not included. They are cheap though, as low as $12 depending on where you shop. If you already have a rig at home then you are good to go but if you don’t you will need to factor the price of the rig into your initial set up too. Set-ups like the Puffco Peak Pro are nice because it is all inclusive and you don’t need any other parts or pieces to start your dabbing experience. 

I have both a Puffco Peak Pro and the ISpire Dabbing wand and I love them both for different reasons. I am preferring the ISpire wand more for the fact that I can get way larger dabs out of it. The Puffco Peak Pro is the best electronic dabbing rig I have used yet, but I do often like to take large globs to get the job done quickly. I have found with the Puffco Peak Pro I have to use the boost function (Where you add time and heat to help vaporize the concentrate) sometimes 2-3 times to finish the whole dab that I put in. At the time it was the best electronic dabbing device I had found so I wasn’t complaining, it definitely did the job. But then I tried the ISpire wand. It does take about a minute to heat up, but it vaporizes a huge glob in a matter of seconds. Giving you that “punch” of a high similar to a traditional dab rig setup. I preferred that compared to puffing on the same dab for over a minute waiting for it to all vaporize. Now if you don’t take very large dabs, this won’t be a problem at all and the Puffco Peak Pro will be perfect.

One downside to the ISpire wand is the battery life. On a full charge it only lasts about 12-14 heating cycles. For those who don’t take many dabs it is perfect, but if you are a heavy dabber or you like to dab with friends then you could have some concerns. The Puffco Peak Pro definitely has a longer lasting battery life, but there are some simple solutions for the ISpire wand. First you can have extra batteries around that have a full charge, if you are dabbing at home you can keep the wand plugged in, or if you are on the go you can simply have a portable power bank on hand or extra charged batteries. 

I am preferring the ISpire Wand because it vaporizes large dabs with ease and has the best flavor, but the Puffco Peak Pro is still a great and reliable product and great for easy dabs on the go. Check out these products at Locals Culture House and find the piece that best fits your dabbing needs!
