Techniq Terp-Tank Talk: Drama Queen
Techniq is a top shelf product line of full spectrum, terpene-rich vape cartridges. This line only uses premier flower and partners with top shelf farms from around the state of Washington, hand-selecting unique strains to make liquid gold in cartridge form. This has been one of my favorite vaping experiences I have had yet. Every strain has a rich, full bodied flavor, it is the closest thing to taking a real dab I have found yet in vape cartridge form. Each strain also comes with its own stats card that lists everything about the product from the genetics, to how it was grown, extracted, and what the smoking experience will be like.
Drama Queen
Calm your inner drama queen with this delicious cross of Sunset Sherbet and Gelato. This strain is incredibly tasty with sweet candy, citrus, and earthy flavors. Sunset Sherbert is known for its smooth and tasty flavors and potent effects so having the strain in the lineage twice (Gelato is Sunset Sherbert x Thin Mint) results in rich flavors and heavy-hitting effects. No drama queen will be coming out when you smoke this strain, expect heavy relaxation and dreamy euphoria with a bit of a creative touch as well.
This strain is grown by Tranquil Forest in Pro-mix soil. Pro-mix is a great growing medium for its nutrient retention and aeration properties. Another thing that makes Pro-mix stand out is that it is mixed with mycorrhizal fungi. This fungus has a symbiotic relationship with plant roots. The mycorrhizal fungi colonizes the root tissue and stimulates increased water and nutrient uptake. This causes the plant to grow much faster. A fantastic organic stimulant.
Over at Tranquil Forest they also grow with a hybrid HPS and LED system. Having both types of lights in the same grow can have its advantages, for example HPS lights emit heat whereas LED lights do not. Growers can use this to their advantage at different times of the year to help keep plants at the exact temperature they need to be at and this helps save energy. In addition having both styles of lights on at the same time offers a broader spectrum of light for the plant to use in order to grow bigger and better.
The stat card provided by techniq also lets us know that they did a slow cure at 60/60 for 10-12 days. This means both the temperature and humidity sit at exactly 60 for the whole duration of the cure. The cure is as important of a part of the process as any. It can completely make or break the ending product.
Techniq Terp tanks are the way to go when you want to treat yourself. The quality is always nothing short of exceptional, and I love being able to try top strains from across the state all in one place. The stats card is like a cannabis version of a baseball card and I enjoy getting a quick glimpse into what I am about to smoke without having to pull out my phone to try to track it down on some corner of the internet. Check out these top notch strains at Locals and get on a new level of chill!
