Playa Grande – Keeping The Classics Alive
Hot at Locals Canna House, from Playa Grande, are two strains we can’t get enough of: Blue Dream and Purple Kush. What makes these so special? Playa Grande is a tier-1, local farm in the heart of the Spokane Valley! They’re focused on small batch growing, meaning that these products have received the best care and attention the industry can offer.
Blue Dream:
Blue Dream by Playa Grande has been lovingly grown and cultivated for the last twenty years. It features golden, feathery nugs that crumble easily in your hand. The strong scent of limonene terpenes make it citrusy, though there are also hints of an outdoorsy, fresh grass smell. The high was noticeable through the chest and arms, but also the head–making this a far stronger high than the non-20-year versions on the market. It’s a clear-minded high, good for conversation and relaxation with friends. While Blue Dream is more common in recent years, this particular batch stands out as being the best Blue Dream we’ve experienced so far.
Purple Kush:
Purple Kush by Playa Grande is a strain perfected over the last two decades. It has a fittingly deep royal purple color to it, so much so that the nugs look less like normal weed and more like something smoked only by royalty! It sports a strong floral and skunky scent, and burns insistently and consistently until the bowl or joint is dead. We experienced smooth hits and even smoother smoke. Purple Kush definitely gave us a longer lasting high. We smoked two smaller bowls back to back out of a pipe and it kept us high for roughly two hours, making this strain well worth its price point. An excellent gaming/weekend smoke, as it can help you focus on a task or zone out pleasantly. The 20-year strain of Purple Kush by Playa Grande is a must buy.
