Delectable Delightful Distillate Pt. 1
Distillate is a delectable treat with many different types of applications. This very viscous oil is void of any unappealing elements through an extensive extraction procedure that removes unwanted compounds. It can be used making edibles and topicals, as well as in vaporizers or plain ol’ dabbing. Locals has a wide array of options when it comes to distillates.
Double Delicious
Double Delicious offers both strain based and flavored distillates. Blackberry, Watermelon, Pineapple, G6 Jet Fuel, and Shangri-La are just some of the available options. My favorites include the Blackberry that is sweet almost like blackberry lemonade and the Pineapple that reminds me of pineapple juice. Some very strong and pure flavors with great balanced, relaxed, and euphoric highs.
Shang-ri La stuck out the most to me out of the strain based options I had tried. Being a cross of 9lb Hammer and Fudo Myo-o this strain gives heavy body euphoria and is a very happy strain that is sure to deliver you to your happy place. Slightly sativa dominant hybrid that could also be a good option for pain with the strong body effects.
Avalanche
Avalanche is a newer company to enter the scene with Locals that has an abundance of options when it comes to distillates. They offer tankers, dab buckets, and cartridges. From flavors like Blue Slushee, Zkittles, Golden Goat, and Super Lemon Haze, there is plenty to keep busy with.
Zkittles has been my favorite out of all the options I’ve been lucky enough to try so far. It has a smooth flavors of sweet candied berries and was on the more indica dominant side with heavy body relaxation. A tasty way to end your day.
Crystal clear
One of my top favorites ever since I started frequenting Locals. Clean, pure, savory options that always take the consumer to a land of bliss. Yummy flavors such as Rainbow Sherbet, Tigers Blood, and Pasion Guava. Strain options can include Skywalker OG, Jack Herer, Casino Cookies, Hawaiian Haze, Delta 8 and Flavorless varieties, the choices go on and on! With most strains being offered in a tanker or a cartridge, you will be ready for whatever the occasion may be.
Skywalker OG has been a personal favorite strain of mine for years now. The high is always relaxing and meditative. Strong on the body while also giving a nice, creative head space that is good for writing, video games, or yoga. The lineage of this strain includes Blueberry which I absolutely love, no matter who the grower is you can always taste the blueberry nodes to some extent. Crystal Clear produced the strongest blueberry tasting Skywalker OG I have tried yet and I am beyond happy with it.
With so many companies each with their own arsenal of distillates, there is an option for everyone. And with so many applications from vaping, dabbing, self-infusing blunts, homemade topicals and edibles, it’s always a good idea to have some on hand. Be prepared for whatever stoney adventure comes your way!
