Techniq Terp Tank Talk: Ice Cream Cake

Ice Cream Cake is an indica dominant hybrid of Gelato #33 X Wedding Cake. This sugary-sweet strain also has flavors that are creamy and earthy. Get ready to find the nearest couch once you start smoking this strain. Ice cream cake is a very relaxing strain to both the head and the body and is euphoric and happy as well. This strain is a good option for anxiety, pain, and fighting insomnia.

This Ice Cream Cake was produced by Torus and was grown using a hydroponic system. Growing weed hydroponically is growing by delivering nutrients through the water rather than using soil. Growing hydroponically can have many benefits such as bigger yields, it is easier to control pests, the water is re-used which can cut costs, no more hassle of re-potting, and the growing space as a whole typically stays much cleaner.

In the grow, Torus also use’s dual end HPS bulbs. These are better than their single ended counter parts for a few reasons. The bulb does not have any metal arcing’s in the tube, so none of the light is blocked and more shines through. And since the bulb receives energy from both ends of the bulb, the bulb will fire faster putting out even more light. The light will also be spread more evenly, reaching more parts of your canopy which is great for your plants to get the most optimal amount of light.
