As far as what temperature to set your enail, that is heavily dependent on personal preference and the type of concentrate or strain you are smoking. Different terpenes, extraction methods, and consistencies burn better at different temperatures which leaves a lot of room for experimentation. For a quick reference guide, 500-550 degrees is great for low temp dabbing. This gives maximum taste while being easy on the lungs, is only slightly wasteful. 550-650 is a great zone that will give both heavy taste and effect. 650-700 degrees is for maximum vaporization with minimal terpenes. I myself use my nail between 540-560 degrees.
The Mini Nail even has a cleaning mode. Manually set the temperature of the nail to about 1100 degrees give or take 50, the exact temperature is not important. The nail will take about 5 minutes to heat up, at this point let the nail sit for approximately 5 minutes. Afterwards gently scrape the nail to remove any build up of materials and it will all scrape off and fall out of the nail with ease.
