Pono X Dessert Dabs Collab

Pono has released some amazing new concentrates at Locals Canna House. Pono has done a collaboration with Major League Marijuana, or as many people know them by, “Dessert Dabs”. Dessert Dabs are known for packing flavor and quality into every dab. In this collab, Pono supplied the sticky nugs and Major League Marijuana did their magic and whipped up a couple of lip smacking flavors. Mahalo Mimosa and Kona Thunder! 

Mahalo Mimosa

This Mahalo Mimosa did not last very long for me because it was so flavorful. Ma halo Mimosa is Durban Poison crossed with Mimosa and this results in one of my more favorite sativa highs. Mahalo Mimosa felt very upbeat and happy and is a good strain to help you power through your day. The smell was like a tropical mimosa spiked with skittles and dabbing it was amazingly sweet like candy and also had nodes of orange, pineapple, and coconut. 

Kona Thunder

The Kona Thunder was just as impressive as the Mahalo Mimosa in my opinion. Kona Thunder is a sativa dominant hybrid of Grape Cheese crossed with Tropical Fruit. Mouth watering, right? I was excited to try this because Grape Cheese is typically on the indica dominant side. I could tell it had Grape Cheese in it because I could feel it on my eyelids become heavy once I dabbed it, but it was still an uplifting high. Felt like a 60/40 sativa dominant strain to me. A great strain to chill out in the middle of the day with. The flavor to me was very similar to the Mahalo Mimosa but I am not complaining because it is such a great flavor. The biggest difference I could find in the flavor was the Mahalo Mimosa had a sharper sweetness to it similar to skittles while the Kona Thunder had a dialed back sweetness similar to fruit loops.

I was extremely happy with both and will be returning for more when new flavors come out. When I first smelled these I was a little nervous because sometimes when concentrates are so flavorful you sacrifice a little bit of the smoothness of the hit. This wasn’t the case with these desert dabs, they were very flavorful, effective, and smooth. The perfect package.
